The Leopold Education Project is a series of lessons that facilitate students’ connecting to the human and natural world. Using essays and key quotes from Aldo Leopold’s A Sand County Almanac, students engage in scientific inquiry and problem-solving as they develop an awareness of the natural world and stewardship of the land.
The Leopold Foundation is no longer offering the Leopold Education Project as a train-the-trainer program. You can download Learning with the Land from their store as a PDF for $9.95. KAEE will continue to provide support for LEP workshops in Kentucky, and we would love it if you used our evaluation and reporting forms for LEP workshops.
