Agenda & Templates
Agendas, Templates, & More!
This page is filled with resources for all the behind-the-scenes prep and planning to help host a successful workshop. From the agenda to slide deck, more than likely, we've got you covered. Use the table of contents to the left for a quick jump to the section you need but be sure to explore all the available resources we have to share!
Agendas
A well-organized agenda will help keep your workshop on track and help you meet your objectives and participant outcomes. We've compiled some sample agendas and material lists to help you get started!
Registration
It's always a good idea to have participants register for your workshop. You can have folks email you to secure their spots or fill out a form. Depending on your payment option needs, perhaps all you need is a Google Form. Check out the Sample Registration Google Form for example questions. You can make a copy of the form to use as your own or simply as a guide for what questions to include in your form.
KAEE is happy to assist facilitators in hosting workshops when it comes to accepting registrations and payments. We can host workshop registration and accept payments through our system. We will distribute the total after registration closes minus credit card processing and service fees, not to exceed $25. If curriculum guides are ordered, we can also subtract that from the disbursement for easier processing.
Slide Deck Templates
Check out the wide variety of slide decks available. No need to start from scratch no matter what combination of curriculum programs you're teaching!
Logos
Be sure to use the relevant logos for your workshop on all materials!
Pre/Post Work
If your agenda is action-packed, you might consider using pre- and post-work for your workshop! With this tool, you can have participants complete some items before the workshop and have more time for hands-on activities once you're together.
Certificates
We recommend sending certificates AFTER your workshop. Send them in a PDF format and give your participants the choice of whether to print or just keep them digitally.
Work Through the Guides
One key component of each workshop is giving participants a chance to get to know their new curriculum guide. A fun way to do that is by having them hike, splash, or leaf through! We recommend using this activity just before peer-teaching.Â
Sign-In Sheets
Keep track of who shows and leaves with a sign-in sheet! This is also a great place to recognize the programs and any sponsors for your workshop.
