You've got the (guide) goods. One key component of any workshop is the curriculum guide! All workshops must include a copy of the training curriculum for each participant. Workshop participants love to take home these hard-copy resources to use over and over again in their settings. Remember, workshop participants are paying for the professional development, which includes the guide(s). They aren't buying the guides, and facilitators aren't selling the guides.
Place your order for guides at our online eeFACILITATOR Store! Use the password eefacilitator to access the store. Please follow the process and guidelines below.
Ordering
Add the relevant guides and the quantity needed to your cart. Filter by category to find the guides you need more quickly!
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and delivery are included in the cost of the guide on orders over $85. For orders under $85, there will be a $5 delivery fee to help cover costs. We ask for a few weeks' lead time on guide orders. If you need express shipping, contact brittany@kaee.org.
Payment
On the checkout page, in the payment section, please choose Offline Payment. This allows staff to confirm the guides are in stock and to make any adjustments to the invoice should workshop needs change. We will send your invoice via email, where it can still be paid online by card or by check in the mail. Invoices can be paid before the workshop if you do not anticipate returning unused guides.
Returns
KAEE will be glad to receive any unused guides that you do not wish to keep for future workshops. All unused guides must be returned within 30 days of your workshop. Invoices can also be paid after the workshop, with adjustments made for unused and returned guides within the 30-day window. Unused guides can be mailed back to us, or we can work with you to arrange pickup in person.
Assemble a basic workshop materials kit to include supplies you most commonly use.
Review materials lists carefully when selecting activities for your agenda to ensure that your workshop's materials needs will match your budget and time frame.
Remember that workshop participants are most likely to use the activities they have experienced as part of a workshop, and classroom budgets are tight! Consider what materials may be readily available and/or easily accessible for your participants when selecting activities.
Plan ahead for special orders to avoid extra shipping costs and pre-workshop anxiety.
Remember to reduce, reuse, and recycle activity materials as much as possible. Sometimes you will need to purchase activity supplies on a budget, or include an activity that requires a lot of materials, but try to model conservation practices whenever possible. Creating unnecessary waste or over-consuming natural resources in demonstrating a conservation or environmental education activity could diminish your credibility. Educators notice when you're not walking your talk, and their students will too!
